Loose electrical connection, 120 amp circuit breaker at chassis battery

2021 Emblem 36U

I’m posting this information pertaining to an intermittent electrical problem I have had since June of 2021. I have experienced the Kwikee retracting steps, at times, to not fully extend or retract. I would lube all the pivot points but the symptoms remained if the ambient temperatures were above 90 F degrees. However the next morning the steps worked properly when air temperatures were cooler.
Another electrical issue has been that the EQ Leveling System would, at times, show low voltage warning, refuse to auto level or retract, and not Bluetooth connect to my iPhone or iPad. If I repeated trying to operate the levelers from the keypad the system would trip power off AND also the Kwikee steps would not operate. After about 5 min the 12 volt power returned and the steps would work again. Also the leveling keypad would return but not necessarily function properly. If I waited a hour or more then it might function manually from the keypad. This was obviously a tripped circuit breaker that auto resets. I did not know where it was located. Entegra Customer Service emailed me construction layout prints but it did not show where the power source or circuit breaker was located. When I called EQ Leveling Customer Support I was told that the levelers used the house batteries as the power source. This confused me because the steps use the chassis battery as the power source. The EQ Support did suggest that a battery with a weak cell could cause low voltage and make the circuit breaker trip.
I decided to test the chassis battery so when I went to remove the positive cable, I found a large battery cable connected to a 120 amp auto reset circuit breaker just above the battery. The battery cable was extremely loose on the circuit breaker terminal because the retaining nut was backed off about 4 turns. The cable attached to the other side of the circuit breaker was also very loose.
I removed the connections and sanded the arcing burns from the eyelets. I returned the cables to the connections and tightened the nuts properly for a secure fit. Now both the steps and leveling system is functioning properly. The keypad is not showing low voltage. The chassis battery is now fully charged showing 12.9 volts dc.
This, hopefully resolves this long time issue because of a very loose connection. I am posting this information because the location of this circuit breaker is under the hood for the steps and the leveling system. The other circuit breakers and relays are located on the wall in the house battery tray compartment and they manage other functions powered by the house batteries.
