Entegra Ethos 20A Li

I just purchased a 2023 . I flew into to the dealership to purchase the rv however when I arrived they said that they had not charged the batteries so could not do a proper walk through. Which was odd because when I spoke to the salesman I had asked if everything had checked out before I purchased my airline tickets and he said it had. But how would they have checked it out if the batteries were not fully charged. I had a long drive so I could not wait. They said once I got home and fully charged batteries everything would be fine. So it was either get a hotel or fly back or drive back. It is new and under warranty so I drove  home. When I got home I plugged into a 30 amp. When turning on the main power switch at the door none of the panels come on. I can get power to the tv and microwave. The inverter is on but flashing a red fault light. I called the dealer and they told me until the battery is fully charged the panels won't work even hooked up to shore power. Then they said it takes 3 full days to fully charged. During the abbreviated walkthrough they kept saying they didn't know everything about the rv because it was so new. So can anyone tell me if this information is correct or they just done know what they are talking about. And is there any info on how to power up the rv correctly. Thanks a lot.

Did you get help with this? We bought a 2022 Ethos 20T LI in July last year and drove it all over the country. Firefly is the control panel outside the cabinet and Samkoon is the control panel inside the cabinet. Sometimes the Firefly would read 0% SOC when plugged in to shore power. I just now observed the Samkoon reading 100% while on shore power but the Firefly is still 0%. I called the dealer for the umpteenth time trying to get help and actually talked with a knowledgeable tech. He let me know that there are 2 recalls on the electrical systems from Jayco. I asked if we could go camping and monitor our SOC on the Samkoon in the cabinet. Everything seems to work but the false Firefly 0% SOC. He said we should be fine for another road trip. We are going out in it again fingers crossed.

Other issues... The blinds come loose and fall down, the little window screens fall off, our AC only works on the high setting, the slide out table at the passenger seat breaks off if bumped. I fixed one of the blinds by using longer screws into the metal past the particle board. The dealer says they did this on all the blinds as it was in their shop for three months. The sliding screens did not get fixed. The dealer said the manufacturers fix was better 2 sided tape. Total fail. I'm actually thankful to be able to gripe a bit here and hope our experience can help others.
