Sony Infotainment Parking Brake Detect Not Working

Hello all,
I cannot use Android Auto on the installed Sony Infotainment system because my system (and smartphone) will not detect that the parking brake is engaged.  Very frustrating as this is a new coach.  I have tried to isolate the light green wire that should be routed from the harness but its not visible near the parking brake foot pedal.  So it may not even be connected.  But I can't find that switch either.  Can someone tell me where the parking brake switch that is supposed to have the light green wire from the harness connected is?  Is it at the pedal up under the dash or further down stream of the brake cable.

I installed a Sony system in my son's truck. It to needed the parking brake signal. Just hook it to any +12v wire and you're good to go.

I had the same problem with android auto not working. After extensive research, I found the light green wire needs to be grounded. I found the wire, unattached behind the Sony unit. Once grounded, VOILA, Android auto works.
The switch for the parking brake is on the brake mechanism under the dash.

Yep, I fixed it, and I too had the green wire unconnected behind the Sony unit.  The wire bundling by Entegra was really top notch, however that one wire was just left out.  Strange.  I grounded it with an aftermarket connection and it now works wonderful.  Didn't try a straight ground as others have, because I was told the newer Sony units look for a steady ground response now.

TY for the responses!  It helped.
