Location of the valances in Y floorplan

While doing a walk through of a 45Y floorplan, we noticed that the window valances in the front section of the coach were placed differently then in other floorplans such as the 45W and 45B.  Typically the valances, at least for the ones that are directly under cabinets, are mounted as far up as they can go (see the B floorplan picture below),  however in the Y it was mounted at the top of the window frame.

Using the passenger side front as an example, this lower positioning makes
    • the window look smaller,
    • blocks the top 5-6 inches of the window, letting less light in
    • shortens the two side lambrequins, so much that they appear "out of proportion" to the window.

Moving over to the one in the dinette area.  Here it was "almost" mounted at the top, but instead its probably 1/4 to 3/8" short of that.  But its only  that way in the Y ... the 2018 B and W we saw were mounted with no gap.  Although better than the passenger side, it is still a bit odd.  Perhaps a small gap was added to prevent squeaks (in the event they could not mount the lamberquin to cabinet base), but that does not explain why its only this way in the Y.

A few pictures are attached.

That really does look odd - maybe a mistake?  Isn't it the same window as in the 45B floorplan?

It was the same window in the B ... the one over the passenger side couch.  Could not see a reason for it to be different and much prefer the location in the B.

The one over the dinette was also in the same location (below upper cabinets as well) in the 45B and 45Y, so not sure why one has a 1/4" gap or thereabouts.
