transmission issues

Well, another short trip, another list of problems!  The transmission would drop from Drive to -/+, in a way too low gear when going up an incline.  The engine would wind out, 5-6 RPM, until I eased off.  Once we crested the hill, the transmission would work fine in Drive.  We have driven this unit about 5600 miles, this is the first time this has happened.  And it happened at least 10 times, but not every time.  Any thoughts?

Mine(2021) did this and it was a wheel sensor, but only when with the cruise set. Ford replaced under warranty.
