Raising the Waste connections

I have a 2021 Odyssey 26D and have nearly zero complaints about this excellent RV. One concern is the low hanging waste connection and valves. Since they are about in the middle of the span between the rear axle and the bumper they are much more susceptible to hitting the ground in driveways or similar uneven surfaces than if they were closer to the axle - Since moving it is really not an option I looked a raising them since I bumped the ground somewhere and popped the 3" pipe out of the black tank - resulting in an empty black tank upon arrival at our next destination - yuck. I found that the black tank is directly about the connections and the gray tank is in the center of the frame. Once 3" pipe comes directly from the gray tank and has a 90 degree turn into the front slide valve and the black tank has 2 90 degree 3" elbows going from the tank to the rear slide valve directly below the tank connection. My fix - I replaced the 3" elbows on the black tank with one regular glue together elbow with both ends being female to a "street" elbow with one end female and the other male. This made the drop from the tank to the rear slide valve about 2.5" shorter. I had to use a furnco to connect the remaining pipe coming from the slide valve because I didn't want to replace everything with new. I then adjusted and re-secured the metal strap on the front pipe just in front of the front slide valve for the new position. My gray tank pipe is essentially horizontal but still drains well. I think this should be done at the factory as this assembly just hangs too low for comfort. I hope others can benefit from this "upgrade"
