Basement door won't shut even locked

Any magic remedies for the basement door not latching?  It has worked but not now even with it locked door won't stay shut

Replace the door latch to get rid of the issue. These latch problems are very common with the locks. I once called a locksmith to help me with a building lockout issue and at that moment he helped me resolve the issue with the latch.

Use keyless entry locks there, you will not face any problems with them if not then contact a mobile locksmith in your location for help.

You can adjust the door "wire" catch in or out so the lock will catch right on it, They come loose and go in to far so the door part doesn't come in far enough to lock. Common problem. You don't need a locksmith.
