2022 Odyssey 25R - No Shore Power from 30 Amp Pedestal / External Generator

When we plug the 30 amp cord into a live outlet the power does not seem to reach the coach. The 120v outlets, TVs, and air conditioner will not operate. However, if we start the onboard Onan generator, all those same outlets and appliances work fine.

I plan to test the continuity of the power cord but have not done so yet. The cable got really twisted/kinked at one location, I suppose that could have caused a short or broken wire. But I would think it's rather unlikely the root cause of our issue is the cord.

What else could be preventing shore power from reaching the coach via the 30 amp cord? I assume the line must go to the transfer switch. Where would I find it and how should I check it?

What's a good way to diagnose the problem. Local dealers want to schedule diagnostic visits 2-5 weeks out.

I have the same issue on 26M. Please let me know what you find out and I will do the same. My unit is only one week old 2023. I would love to know where the transfer switch is even located.

I generally find that these challenges sometimes have the simplest answers. Have you confirmed that the 30A min circuit breaker is turned on in your AC power panel in the RV?
