How to Level your Coach

Park in the most level way possible, this could mean some adjustments front/back side/side in the site you're parked. Your goal is to minimize how much work the levers must do.  Always park with your wheels straight to avoid tire damage during leveling.

If you must level where jacks lower on grass, gravel, dirt or sand, place leveling pads under the jacks for stability and to increase the footprint of the jack. Dica is a  commercial brand that has RV pads in a variety of sizes. Amazon.com: RoadWarrior Heavy Duty RV Jack Pad - Lightweight, Stackable,...

Entegra designs their slideouts to operate at ride height, that means you should extend or retract them with the airbags inflated, before using the auto leveling functions.

Here's a quick walkthrough of the leveling steps in an Entegra Coach.

LEVELING YOUR COACH

  • You cannot run leveling jacks with the key in the running position.
  • Extend your slides.
  • Turn the leveling system power on.
  • The system has a sensor that will identify when the coach is level. If you are moving around while the auto leveling is in process, the sensor may report incorrect values and not find the proper level.
  • The system will start to run and after a brief delay, the airbags will deflate.
  • Once the airbags are deflated, the jacks will be on the ground and the leveling process will happen.
  • It should take no more than two minutes to complete.
  • If the tires happen to come off the ground during the leveling process and you don't want to run the leveling process again, put something solid and stable underneath to support them. Suspended tires will pull on the shocks and strain the suspension system.

UN-LEVELING YOUR COACH

    • Start up the engine.
    • Set 'high idle'
    • Wait for the air bags to fully inflate. Don't go by the air gauges, they read pressure in the tanks, not the air bags.  Go out and actually look at them if you are not sure.
    • While you're waiting for the bags to inflate, retract your jacks.  You can do that with the engine running...
    • After the bags are inflated and the jacks are retracted, you can retract your slides.

Over time the programmed levels can become out of specification. Manual adjustments can be made easily on the coach's touchpad. To get levels to the zero-point you prefer, you can do something called resetting the null

RESETTING THE NULL

  • With the jacks down and your manual adjustments complete, press the Power button to turn the leveling system off.
  • Press and hold the Auto Level and Power buttons at the same time. Wait for at least six beeps before releasing. And you’re done!

Is there a particular reason that after a few days the coach suddenly becomes wiggly? All bags appear deflated and the jacks are down on a concrete pad. We seem to tilt a bit forward and to starboard as well. Suggestions?
