Does anybody have any ideas as to why the MH won't switch over to shore power? When it's plugged in everything still runs off propane etc. First time its ever happened. Grateful for any help.
My Vision had the same issue in connecting to a 30 amp + 20 amp service (using a Cameo adapter specifically for this purpose). The problem was the 20 amp service was GFI. The combined adapter trips the GFI and the adapter will not properly power both legs of the 50 amp connection in the RV, so the protection circuit in the RV trips to prevent damage.
The solution is to use a 30 amp to 50 amp adapter. Just don't use both AC units, at the same time because you are running at 30 amps.
In either case I always use my 30 amp surge protector before the 50 amp connector.
