I have to change the motor on a few of my blinds.
Does anyone know how to take the blinds off the wall

Inside your valances you will find 4 brackets with screws in them. Carefully, remove the screws that go in sideways. Be sure to hold on to the valance as it will fall after all the screws are removed. Letting the valance move around while removing the screws can cause them to strip out the wood. Once the valance is off, there will be screws in the shade bracket holding it to the wall. Once those are removed, carefully lower the shade, but be sure to pull the wires out slowly with the shade. Sometimes the wire connectors or wire nuts hang up in the cabinet holes. Be sure you don’t force it, or you may pull the wires apart which can make it difficult to find the wire.
