Can the 24B propane system support an external propane tank? I ask because as its currently configured, we have to travel to a filling station with the RV to refill the tank. If I could hook up an standard external 20lb tank, we could just fill those without breaking camp.
Just completed this project on our 2022 Esteem 29V .... Checkout the below video:

I purchased the Kit from Camping world and had to add another adapter to connect to the external tank. Took less than an hour. Did purchase the sniffer from Home Depot.
The only post-install "ah-Ha" moment was ... be aware there will be some gas in the line when you disconnect the external tank. Not sure that it can be eliminated entirely ... both the internal and external tanks were off when disconnected.
Use the stove to get the propane flowing ... this is really no different than what would be done when you fill the on-board tank.
Typically, the RV's propane connection (https://www.outdoorbits.com/hook-up-external-propane-tank-to-rv/) will be located on the exterior of the RV. It's often near the front or side and may have a protective cover.
